Personality/Demeanor: At first glance, one would immediately associate Candace with someone who was 'artsy.' They would be correct. Candace is also the type of girl to just walk up to someone she's never met before, and end up being best friends with them by the time they are done talking. She's very open, inviting, and down right warm. She has a very positive outlook on life, and will do every thing in her power to make sure that everyone else does, too. Candace has a way of carrying herself, that just screams self confidence. She's not arrogant, but she is sure of herself.

Candace has tons of friends, and no enemies. Some would say she's the girl you 'love to hate,' though in reality, no one could possibly hate her. One might assume that she'd be a goody-goody, with her good looks, near perfect grades, and the seemingly endless amounts of money that her parents have. Still, anyone who thought that would change their mind immediately after meeting her, and they'd find she was very sweet, and down to earth, if not a little hyper.

Style of Dress: There hasn't been a day in her life, where she has worn anything remotely dull or drab. If she's found wearing a black shirt, it would be paired with a lemon yellow skirt, with rainbow leg warmers, or something equally as colorful. And, with the help of her parents' salary, she's able to buy the best of the best. Gucci, Chanel, and Prada all have a significant area of her closet. What she loves more than anything else though, is vintage clothing. Lots of times, she'll pair a vintage top, with colorful bottoms. Candace has the ability to throw the most random, bright colors together, and look completely put together.

Personality Quirks: Any of her close friends would tell you that she has numerous 'quirks.' Hell, SHE'D tell you that she has tons. The word quirky probably wouldn't even describe her adequately enough. She has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and with that, comes tons of quirks, some of which not even medication has been able to help. She has been known to count the steps she takes. Candace hates doorknobs, and has taken them out of every door in her house. ( Other than the one on the front door. ) She washes her hands excessively, and in turn, has to use lotion constantly to keep her hands from drying out. In her purse, one will always find a brush, her blackberry, lotion, her camera ( disposable ), and her sunglasses.

Also, she despises foul smelling things. If there is a place that she has encountered that smelled badly even once, she'll avoid it for the rest of her life. She also can't stand people who don't practice good hygiene. Candace takes at least two showers a day, and her house is always spotless, and smells of vanilla.

Her best friend in the whole world, isn't one of the dozens of people that she loves, and is loved by, but her pet dog, Atlas, who is a male Great White Mastiff. She rescued him from the side of the road when he was a puppy, and has loved him like a child ever since. The two of them are inseparable, and if she was allowed, she would take him to school with her.

Bad Habits: Gets excited easily, and thus is classified as hyper. When hyper, she tends to speak very loudly, and is always being told to use her 'inside voice.' When chewing gum, she pops it rather loudly. Talks too fast, sometimes to the point where she must say it all over again. She tends to be late to every thing but her dance lessons. Candace is also unable to contain herself when shopping, and ends up spending ridiculous amounts of money.

Hobbies: Dancing, Shopping, Jogging, Ballet, Acting, Photography, Painting, Listening to music, Dancing around in her underwear ( at her own home, of course ), Taking showers, Watching other people.

General Likes: Bright colors, Energy drinks, The 'Art' channel, The Cooking channel, Dance, Ballet, Art, Broadway musicals, Hair salons, Nail salons, Spending her parents' money, Leather, Silks, Shoes, Clothing, Extremely bright colors, Old jewelry, Vanilla, Lotion, Bath and Body Works, Board games, Carnivals, Hanging out with her numerous friends, Chai Tea Lattes, Old houses, Halloween, Sunshine, Rain, Warm weather, Cold weather, Leg-warmers, Atlas

General Dislikes: Bad hygiene, Smoking, Rudeness, Tardiness ( even though she is always late ), Stereotypes, Public bathrooms, Anything that smells bad, People who backstab, Milk, Any dairy products, Long lines, Spiders

Occupation: She doesn't have a 'job,' per say. She is too busy going to her dance lessons, recitals, and shows. When someone asks what her job is, she'd reply with "I am a dancer. Oh, and a student." Though, she has been known to take up a job as a waitress at one of the local diners. Not because she needs the money, but out of boredom.

Do you live alone? Along with her dog, Atlas.

Describe your home/apartment: Her apartment is a testament to her love of dance, art, and bright colors. It is a large, three bedroom apartment/condo, that is decorated with lots of bright paintings. All of her furniture is lavish, and modern. Her apartment is also very dog friendly, for her large Great White Mastiff.

Personal history: She was born on October 31st ( hence why Halloween is her favorite holiday ) 1989, to Maria and Daniel Hamilton. Candace was their only child, and was spoiled accordingly. She wasn't a spoiled brat, really. The definition of a spoiled brat would be a kid who got what they wanted, and still threw fits, where as Candace got what she wanted, and was thankful for it. Her parents spoiled her to make up for the time they couldn't spend with the young girl. Maria and Daniel were both lawyers, and were at the top of their trade. Neither had time to play with a little girl. While some kids might have been angry, and bitter, Candace understood, and was content playing with the housekeeper. Anyway, they continued spoiling her. In turn, she was their little angel. They put her in pageants, and contests, where she would smile, win the awards, and trophies. It wasn't too long, however, until she found her true passion, which was ballet. Candace has been taking ballet since she was seven years old, and it is her passion. She plans on leaving British Columbia, and going to Juliard.

From grade school up, I guess you could have called her one of the 'in' girls. And even now, in her senior year of high school, it has stayed that way. No, she was never the captain of the cheer squad. ( Candace was much too busy with ballet ) She wasn't one of the girls that thought she ruled the place, either. Candace was friends with everyone, and didn't have a set clique. Instead, she made friends with all of them. One day, Candace could be seen sitting with the 'nerds' from the chess club. The next, she'd be going to a party thrown by the captain of the football team. If one had to put her in a group, it would have been the artsy one. Her clothes, while not 'crazy', or too out there, were different, and always fun, and colorful. She was always ( and still ) in the school plays. Even as a senior, she hasn't put myself herself in any sort of 'group.' She likes everyone. In turn, everyone likes her.

Two years ago, Candace was driving along, and came across a puppy, who was stumbling along the roads. He'd been badly abused, and thrown out. She took pity on the pup, and took him in. The Great White Mastiff was named Atlas, and has since become her best friend. When Candace moved out of her parents' house, she took him with her, and even created a room for the dog in her new house, even though he always sleeps in her bed.

While Candace's life on the whole was one that most kids dreamed about, it wasn't always easy. When she was young, Candace's nanny noticed that she was doing things out of the ordinary, such as washing her hands, counting her steps, etc. It got to the point where Candace was miserable, because the things were interfering with the things she loved the most. Eventually, her parents found a psychiatrist, who prescribed a medication that lessoned the severity, but was unable to stop it completely. To this day, Candace has a few quirks that are caused by the disease.

Thoughts on the killings in and around Victoria: Candace, while mildly concerned, isn't losing sleep over what has been happening. She agrees that it's horrible, but also believes that nothing like that would ever happen to her, or anyone she knows. She still rides the ferry, goes to her dance classes, and hangs out with her friends.
